Hey there!  I'm Jessica.  It's nice to meet you! 

I'm always a little awkward with introductions but here goes....


I am a young mother of two kids:

Almost six years ago I married a pretty cool guy.  East Coast, Deep South, Northwest...we've lived all over.  Now we call gorgeous Idaho our home. 

Some things I love: simplicity, vintage fabric, dark chocolate, reading and cool mornings. So what is this blog all about? A combination of things, really.   The Ruffled Pear Blog exists as a place for me to tell my story as a creative mother.  Everything from starting and running a homegrown business, to mothering, to integrating creativity into daily life.  I promise to share honestly the struggles, the joys, the challenges, the accomplishments because it's all beautiful and all worth it.
